This weekend we witness EPL game week 26 with eight of the twenty teams having a double game week. The Teams having a double game week are Burnley, Tottenham, Watford, Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Leeds, Arsenal, and Wolves.  Liverpool has a good looking double game week, with both matches played at Anfield, on 19th vs Norwich and 23rd vs Leeds and I would expect the league's top scorer, Mo Salah, To continue with his hot streak. Others to watch in the Liverpool side are Jota, Mane, Robertson, and Trent all of whom have had a fantastic season so far. The only other team with a double game week worth looking at, in my opinion, is Arsenal, who like Liverpool, have two home matches, though against tricky oppositions. They take on Brentford on 19th then Wolves on 24th. Their somewhat resolute defense is the main

Today's Big Games

There are quite a number of football matches today but the mammoth game tonight is The Africa Cup of Nations Semi-Finals clash between Hosts, Cameroon, and seven times winners, Egypt at Stade d'Olembe (Yaounde). Cameroon has two of the leading scorers in this years' edition Vincent Aboubakar (6) of Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Toko Karl Ekambi (5) of Olympique Lynnais in France. Egypt on the other hand is led by one of the greatest soccer players in the world at the moment Mohamed Salah of Liverpool backed up by great talents of the game like Mahmoud Trezeguet, Ramadan Sobhi, and Elneny.

Cameroon matches so far have seen many goals, with all games having more than one goal while Egypt surprisingly has had low-scoring matches with non of their games having more than one goal over regular ninety minutes.

Will The Paharaos turn up as they normally do and rule over African Football? Or will it be a repeat of the 2017 AFCON finals where  Indomitable Lions came back from a goal down to win 2:1 courtesy of Nicolas N'Koulou and  Aboubakar? That is the big question to be answered at 10.00 P.M East African Time. I expect a cracking game and as an Egypt Fan, I hope Salah does his magic and lifts us the trophy. Should the lions roar, it will be a great moment for another African Football Great Eto'o who was recently elected as president of the Cameroon Football Federation. All in all, we should expect a good game tonight.

For our betting fans Betway has 1.78 for 1st half draw. Wish you the best.

Comments

  1. Cameroon have the better odds , just look at their form, scoring goals is all you need to win, right? They may concede, or find a tough Egyptian defense, but if they have their scoring boots, nothing is going to stop the Cameroonians.

  2. Another time Egypt is underestimates yet they find a way to rule. Pure resilience this time.
